Easter Extravaganza

Last Sunday was Easter and we had a great time doing all the fun easter traditions. On Saturday morning we got up and colored the kids easter eggs. The look forward to doing that so much that they woke up at 6:30 because they were so excited to dye them. Sunday we woke up to see that the easter bunny had visited our house once again to bring the kids candy and some fun toys. Texie got a new purple and gray Cat Osterman glove to play softball with this year. Taydem got a Air Hog airplane that can fly outside and Tyker got a nerf gun that shoots little nerf things. We then went to Grandpa and Grandma Neal's for a little visit and take them a pot of tullips from our family. We then went down to Grandma and Grandpa DeSpain's for the annual easter egg hunt and dinner. As always all the grandkids get spoiled by Grandma and grandpa. They all got a new webkinz and a bunch of candy and treats. We then headed to old main to roll our eggs down the hill. Taydem was asking when we were going to go to the place where the beagles (Seaguls) eat your eggs. We had such a good easter and enjoyed spending time with family. We hope you all had a great Easter!!!

Spring Fever!!

It is starting to warm up a little in Cache Valley but as you all know the highs are only in the lower 40's but hey that is a heat wave for us lately. I am always going out and shoveling snow into the road so it will melt faster and we can go out and play on the grass. We still have quite a bit of snow but hopefully it will melt fast. We can't wait till we can play some ball outside and sit in the warm sun and tan our white bodies. Easter is only a week and half a way so much for having any easter hunts outside since we still have snow. Ryan is going to mesquite to play softball this weekend so he is excited about that. He has had his bags packed for a week waiting to go. He really looks forward to going down with the guys for the weekend. I don't know how much ball the end up playing but I'm not sure thats the reason for going down. I always tell him he should just go to have fun and not waist their time playing ball because they always loose the first two games and are done. But they continue to go every year to loose their two games and play around the rest of the time. Oh well he has a blast with the guys. Well I better go and shovel some more snow out so we can have tullips and daffodils soon. Happy Easter!!!

Taydem's annual Trip

Well it was time for annual trip to Primary Children's Hospital for Taydem's yearly check on the kidneys. He was very nervous to go which I don't blame him but he was very brave and only cried when he had to put the cute little gown on. He then gets a catheter and I.V. so they can inject nuclear lasiks into him to see if both of his kidneys are pulling their own weight. Every year we go they continue to get better and better. This was his last chance to get better and if not then he would have to have surgery to open the ureter so it would drain faster. They sandbag him down for 45 min. while this big machine takes little pictures of how fast his kidneys get the lasiks out. We then go up to the pediatric urology office and the doc. tells us how he did. To are surprise and such a relief off of out shoulders his kidneys finally work about 49 to 51 so that is as close as you can be without being perfect. He no longer has to go there every year and mom and dad are relieved we don't have to put our son through that any longer. We then took Taydem to lunch and went to Build-a-Bear and let him build his own bear for being so brave.
We love you Taydem and are so glad you are better!!
