On August 2, 2008 Texie was officially the newest member of the LDS Church. Her dad baptized her and confirmed her. This was Ryan's first experience using the priesthood power. He was pretty nervous as he was awake till three in the morning stewing over it. But those of you that know Ryan know how awesome he is with words. He did such a great job and I am so proud of him. Texie we love you and are so happy for the decision you made to get baptized and your sweet spirit you bring to our family. Thanks to everyone who came and made this day special for Texie. We have such great friends and family who we all love.

Congrats to Texie! How exciting. We teach the 7/8 year olds in primary and it is so neat to see them after they are baptized. That is so great that Ryan baptized her. I had no idea that he had even joined the church, that is awesome. Congrats on such a special day for your family.
